Today seemed like a good day for some cleaning, which ultimately led me to rearrange and organize my fabric stash. I’ve come to the conclusion that I really have more than I will ever be able to use, including a bunch of fabric that I really never see myself using. It may not be my taste, but maybe it’s yours?
So what to do but have a giveaway!
There are some larger pieces here – a few fat quarters and one or two that may even be larger than that, as well as a mix of smaller scraps and a few pre-cut squares. Most is quilting weight cotton but there are a couple pieces of home dec weight fabrics as well.
Just leave me a comment – about anything, really! – and I’ll pick a winner on Monday night.
Edit: Comments are now closed. I’ll pick a winner and will announce it tomorrow morning!

Last minute sewing (and a quick tutorial)
This End Up quilt

Hmmm, a comment about anything? How about I am looking forward to New Year’s and using the “fresh start” idea to get myself organized, go through my own sewing stash, and rid my home of clutter! Of course, I kind of start out this way every year and end up back to my cluttered self, but at least I have once a year to make a good effort, right?
How beautiful! I’d love to add them to my stash.
I’m always up for free fabric :0) Awesome giveaway. Enter me please!!!
I really like giveaways like this!
I love getting bits and pieces of new fabrics, especially now that I am starting to quilt more.
Fingers are crossed that I win!
Thank you
ooh fabulous!! I love what you have there. Doesn’t being organized feel great?
i really need to do some cleaning too, but for some reason i can never part with fabric. thanks for sharing.
Oh, this looks like a great stash-starter! I love those little birds I can see. Congrats on getting organized!
I love the modern style of the fabrics you’re giving away. Most of the quilt shops in my area lean more toward the Civil War repros, so it’s great to see the geometry and colors of your fabrics.
I would love this! So many pretties in here!
You’re parting with some of your happy fabrics? What fun!
Here I am leaving a comment about anything! (: Thanks on behalf of all of us droolers for cleaning out your stash! (:
I need to clean out my stash also, but I can never pass up more fabric. I love the colors, pinks and turqoise are my thing.
Awesome! I love giveaways! Just finished taking down the tree and vowed not to leave any Christmas decorations out again this year (I had a resin Santa that stayed up on a shelf for all of 2008 because I forgot to pack him and was too lazy to take him down to the basement and open up the Christmas box yet again!!!). I love the tree trimming, but am always eager to get it all cleaned up ASAP after Christmas!
Oh yeah…a giveaway! I thought that they might all be over because Christmas is gone…but no-you came through for my greedy, crafty soul!!!
Plus, giving-up fabric earns you extra points in Heaven!
Thanks!
Tricia
What a great way to start the New Year! Happy decluttering!
Oh no! I’m supposed to be using up my own stash… but these are so pretty, I can’t resist tossing my name into the hat, too.
I recently discovered your site…Your fabrics are lovely! I made all handmade gifts this year and really used up most of my fabric. I’d love to restock!
Oh, I love all of that fabric!
I almost took my Christmas tree down a week ago just because it was getting in the way of my mad gift making and sewing. I just needed to confess this to someone.
Lots of fabulous fabric in the booty. Thank you for hosting this great giveaway. Happy New Year!
Holy scrappy stash, batman! That is a nice assortment!
Beautiful fabrics! and good work for doing a big clean out, I keep looking at mine and thinking I need to clean it out but I don’t really know where to start!

I just got Liberated Quiltmaking for Christmas and have been lamenting that I do not have a very big stash, or a very big stash of scraps. These would be so great for some liberated quiltmaking! Thanks for offering them up to one of us lucky folks!
I am just teaching myself how to sew and I’m not sure how it happened but all of a sudden I can’t help but squeal with delight over fabric giveaways and blogs with ideas to try. Keeping my fingers crossed over here! Thanks for the chance at a great giveaway!
I spent today sorting out my jumbled bead collection. This is the sort of thing I only get up to when the TV is broken.

Hi! My name is Tamara and I am a huge fan of your website. My mom introduced it to me and I love all of the creative inspirations that you have given me. I started sewing only 3 months ago, but am completely hooked. I have one little girl and I am having a boy in only one more week! I have found that creating/sewing makes me so happy and it has added a lot of excitement into my life to be able to make things for my daughter, myself, and others. I LOVE the fabrics that you are giving away and would LOVE to create with them:)
I’m not sure I could part with any of my stash…you must be stronger than I am. Happy Holidays.
I’m a beginner sewer so fabric is always appreciated. I don’t quite have a stash built up yet. Thanks for the giveaway.

I love your blog-I never thought too much about making quilts until I saw the ones that you’ve made. They were so much more my style that I started thinking maybe I do want to make a few! Would love to be entered into the giveaway. Thanks for sharing!
Comments are wonderful! You can tell so much from what people say in reponse to a blog entry. They give of themselves and are almost always grateful for the entry to get them started on their own sewing adventure. Many are just lurkers who are suddenly moved to make their voice known. The entry often asks of a certain comment but mostly it lends itself to having the commenter give of herself. Isn’t the blog world amazing?! I have truly enjoyed my year of getting to know so many talented and marvelous crafters/quilters who share their talents. Happy New Year and let’s hope that 2009 gives us all that we hope it will.
My wife is a quilter and would love to add this to her stash.
Beautiful fabric and nice blog, too–I am a regular reader. Good for you, getting organized. Happy New Year!
Oh, I love free fabric. I just cleaned out my stash and got rid of a lot of stuff that I will no longer use. So I have tons of extra room for more fabric.

I stumbled across your blog a couple of weeks ago… and I’m so glad I did! I’ve bookmarked your site for future sewing inspiration. And I love the fabrics!!! Pick me!
I absolutely love reading your blog and seeing all your great quilts! You are actually the reason that I’ve taken a hand quilting class a few weekends ago and a basic machine piecing class on 4 weekends in January. I’ve always wanted to quilt and you make the most gorgeous quilts. I can’t wait to make my first one!! I’d love to get some fabric to start me out on the right foot. I look forward to seeing your next one!
OMG! I would love to get your left overs. I’ve just started sewing so my own fabric stash is tiny.

Well…since you did ask for any comment…I’m back visiting family in Nebraska and have run over 2 field mice with the borrowed car from my mom. Very random, and I feel sorry for the little boogers.
On a happier note, it would be nice to win some fabric scraps!
