I just found your blog through Sew Mama Sew. You do an awesome job! I am a beginnner sewer for about a year & a half now but am so afraid to take the quilting plunge.Do you have any recomendations for beginning quilting (i.e. books , paper piecing, blogs)? I do pretty well with a good tutorial but I wondered if your first ones were from books or tutorials.I would love someone to point me in the right direction.

I have to say, WOW too. I love your quilts. I especially love the middle one in the third row. So simple and sweet. I will have to come by here more often.

I just stumbled across your blog the other day and I’m SHOCKED (and inspired) that you have been sewing for a year, only!!! I just got my first sewing machine and while I don’t have a mom to show me to sew I’m keen to get going!!

Snap! I’ve only been sewing a year too.
Quilting is so very addictive. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a little body curled up watching tv wrapped in a quilt I made for him. (Though I don’t know why I say ‘little’ body… my kids are all taller than me now!)
Great job with your quilts. You’ve been so productive! (I only finished 6…)

Your quilts are beautiful! I think the zig-zag one is my favorite, love the color palette and the simplicity. You make me want to learn to quilt . Wonderful work.

Wow. I can’t believe you’ve only been sewing a year! You have a great talent.

I have been sewing a few years, but recently got the obsession feeling about it. I really thank my mother for teaching me to sew as a girl. And my sister for keeping the passion alive.
