Cute fabrics…..I used to have a VW van back in the 70s. (yes, I am that OLD). I’ve just finished a quilt for my daughter’s friend heading off to college….need to get the label on. I love your blog, and seeing your latest projects.

I just recently discovered your blog and I am so inspired! I learned how to quilt about a year ago and I have yet to finish the one quilt I started- it’s a simple 9 block baby quilt with based on a classic Pooh fabric I found. I’m hoping to finish it this month and then start another one. Can’t wait!

Ooh, thanks! This fabric was “before my time” and I would love some…

I am working on Denyse Schmidt-style scrappy blocks for a quilt for our room. They are soooo addictive: no pinning, no planning, just go with the flow. They are really fun to do when you have just a couple of minutes before work or before you go out.

Very fun, and before you know it, you’ve got a LOT of blocks done!

We are still in holiday mood and I don’t achieve much at the moment except painting a bookshelf bright red and folding mountains of laundry. But next week school starts, so I will grab my chances!

Your nine patch is fantastic. I finished my top, but need to buy more safety pins for basting it. It was a bit bigger than I expected.

Very cute fabric. I would love to win it! And yes, that last quilt is amazing.

I find my thoughts consumed with sewing things for my two little boys lately. Right now I’m making them shirts (romper for the baby) out of some really cute fabric I found. A few weeks ago I made them some fun buffalo tees (well, I embellished store-bought tees). I have absolutely no desire to go buy clothes for them. I’m in a making mood! Uh-oh. It sounds like I’m nesting. I don’t think I’m pregnant.
