Seriously, you need to link to the copies you have found, so everyone can see who they are. Hey! you could even make positive comments on the fabulous work they have created and where the inspiration came from! No repercussions there… The web might be huge, but really it is very small if we are in the know. They won’t last long if everyone knows who they are… Love this blog, don’t be gone long…

I wonder how close these quilts are to yours. I am sure that is annoying but a lot of young quilters are doing similar quilts via Denyse Schmidt etc etc. Unless they are doing same exact color scheme, size, etc. Even then, isn’t blogging all about sharing ideas?

With that said, I love reading your blog and seeing how your work grows. hope you won’t take too long of a break!

Your creativity, your shot cuts and your aesthetics have inspired me no end, though most of the ideas your work has engendered are still in my head — there’s no way I could be so productive. I never knew quilts could be so cool nor that it could be possible without being miserly and nitpicky — thanks, and please come back soon!

All I can tell you is this….copying someone is the ultimate form of flattery…even if it doesn’t feel like it. I just returned from the quilt market in Houston and really, everything old is new again. I was surprised to see how many “new” quilts aren’t new at all – just redone with a twist…maybe rick-rack or new trendy fabrics. There really are no “new” ideas – just new versions of them. If you decide to take a break then I say good for you – you probably need it. But when you come back to blogging – and I hope you do – I hope you’ll realize that your posting pictures of your work is a way of sharing – and encouraging other quilters to do what you do…even if they do it exactly the same and don’t give you credit. You quilt because it gives you pleasure…not because you want credit, right? I love your blog – so please don’t be gone for long. xo, Nan

I can understand your need for a break but I will miss you. You blog was the first quilting blog I discovered and I love looking at your photos, your fabirc choices and your beautiful work – what an inspiration! Take time to refresh and recharge but don’t stay away too long!!

And your productivity is insane and causes serious jealousy from this house with a toddler. I made my first block for my first REAL quilt last night after going back through your photos.
