By now I know you’ve all seen photos of this gorgeous new fabric. It’s a new line by Laurie Wisbrun for Robert Kaufman Fabrics, called Tufted Tweets. I had a chance to work with it to create a couple quilts, so I can tell you how absolutely wonderful it is! A huge congrats to Laurie for a really stunning line!
It will be arriving in stores sometime this month, but in the meantime, how would you like to win some? The generous folks at Robert Kaufman have sent two fat quarter packs of the whole line – a total of three yards each. Just think of all the fun you could have!

What a great giveaway! It’s a beautiful line. My favorite color is that dark purple eggplant, yum!
Hmm… looks like I’m the first. How likely is it that comment number one will be picked? I know it’s random but isn’t it strange how “41″ or “227″ feels like a random choice, but “1″ or “100″ doesn’t? What a cool giveaway! I would make pillows or cushions for our outdoor patio furniture. I think I love the grass colorway but the sorbet is stunning too. My favorite print is prolly the oval dots.
I love the rich purples with the bright aquas and greens. I will say that I will make a quilt out of it, but I know that mostly I would just be adding it to my every growing (and never shrinking) fabric collection. But there are lots of possibilities here!

I am loving the sorbet palette BUT I have four boys and two of those boys classify purple as their favourite colour so I’d have to go with Orchid. And it’d definitely be made into a quilt for use in our lounge room. Divine. Now, as to a favourite print? Probably the circles with small bird detail.

I am a big lover of the underappreciated purple. I’ve been gathering purples for a big purple bomb of a quilt, so they’re my faves, and that couch with the damask behind it…be still my heart!

I really love all the colors together, it’s a perfect rainbow line of fabric! that’s probably how I would use it in a quilt, too. I really like the chairs print. I think it makes it perfect for a quilt that can hang out in a livingroom!

I’ve always wanted a rich red couch, so I’m thinking ALP-10402-239 Sorbet (the light orange background with the rich red couches with black birds perched) would work fabulously in a quilt for my sofa. First of all, I love this fabric line, because it is so fresh and unusual with bright saturated colors. I think my favorite print is the ovals with little birds. I would definitely make a lap quilt and hopefully have some left over to make some pillow covers.

I am crazy in love with this line–and how to choose between orchid and grass? So I won’t–I love them both. No idea what I’d make just yet; I think I’d have to commune with them for a week or two and let them tell me what they want to be!
My favourites are the red and aqua fabrics. But they all look lovely!

I told Laurie that I would love to make a spiderweb quilt and some matching pillows to throw on our couch.. and I still stand by that plan! I can’t really say which color is my favorite, but I do think all of the prints with chairs or couches are my favorite!

Loving this line! I think the Orchid is my favorite colorway. It’s hard to find good purples! And while those ovals might be the easiest to pair with other fabrics, I think the simple white chairs are my favorite.

My fave is almost always the red. But I love the graphics of all of the fabrics. I expect this to be a very popular line!
My 3-year old son (he insists you must know his name is Elijah) really likes the green. He’s been asking for a green and blue quilt for a while. I myself am partial to the purple, but I agree with other poster, a throw pillow out of this fabric really is a necessity, isn’t it. Since our blue and green pillows need a playmate, I think I’ll have to pick up a bit of the green.
Right now I’m totally into the “Orchid”. I’d like to make a quilt with all the fabrics together in all the colorways, and a summer nightgown in orchid with matching house slippers.

I just love the “Grass” collection – the zinginess (yes, I did just make that word up!) of the turquoise and lime green is fantastic. I would love to make a beach bag and accessories with those fabrics

I love the grass set-especially the ovals with the birds. I think a full dinner set for the summer would be awesome-my kids would love to set the table with such colorful napkins, placemats and tablecloth. By the way, I love seeing the scenery in your quilt shots-I went to college there and I love the waterfront. It brings back great memories!

My favorite color has to be the deep eggplant fabrics. Not a common color to find in a group of crisp, fresh FQs. I have a stack of books that are FQ friendly, just screaming at me to make a quilt with some NEW fabric, not the stuff that’s been sitting around my house for ages. Thanks for the giveaway. I love all the colors, they make such a bright and colorful statement where alot of lines have a tendency to be more muted. My best friend is getting married soon, and has requested a quilt as her wedding present. You make the best quilts Ashley and to use this fabric first must have been the best! I love all the colours but I think if I had to pick I would have to say the reds! I love all that laurie creates and have some of her donkeys and wellies. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
What a beautiful range! I spend hours on the internet looking at gorgeous quilts (your echino quilts in particular) and I’m plucking up the courage to make my first quilt. I love the green and orange colors in this range. They remind me of the colors of the hills outside my window.
