I already hand quilt but only large things (lap, twin, etc…) A mini quilt would be an amazing way to learn some new techniques since I have only been doing this for about a year now.

My husband doesn’t like quilts on the wall either!!

I do. And like you I’ve never made a mini one… Maybe I should put my patchwork/quilted placemats on the wall!!!

I haven’t made any mini quilts, but they look like a lot of fun. I love how you took the idea in the book and adapted it. Your quilt is terrific and the handstitching looks great!

I haven’t made mini quilts, but would love to try. I did some appliques on a table runner by hand, but no hand quilting yet.

I am comment number 400 – yes I live in hope of one day winning a giveaway! I have made 3 mini quilts which hang from an old wooden hanger! I haven’t had the need to wash them – give them a shake every cleaning day!
