I love patchwork quilts! I think it's a great way to show off some fun fabrics... and the fabrics in this quilt should be shown off! I used a variety of prints by Etsuko Furuya, including many of her newest prints, and added in some corresponding solids and linen. The printed fabrics are a cotton/linen blend, and add a nice texture to this quilt.

For the backing, I used two shades of pink solids with a strip of one of the Echino peacock prints. I've quilted it by machine with double straight lines on the diagonal and bound it in a great darker pink solid. The binding has been hand sewn to the back for an invisible finish.

It's been washed and dried and it measures about 34" x 43". It's ready to be used, and would make a perfect gift for almost anyone! It would make a great baby/toddler quilt, or a perfect floor/play quilt, or even a great wall hanging!

This sweet quilt uses many pink fabrics in a variety of prints and solids. I added in a bit of gold and brown to add a touch of sophistication. Each of the blocks in this quilt are totally unique, and are made in an improv style, creating a quilt with a lot of visual interest.

For the backing, I used a medium pink solid and added in a patchwork strip of smaller improv blocks. It's been machine quilted by me in a nice all over random meandering pattern. I used a pale pink silk finish thread. It's bound in a solid brown. The binding has been machine sewn to the front, and hand sewn to the backing for a nice invisible finish.

This quilt has been washed in a mild, environmentally friendly detergent and is soft and crinkly and just ready to be snuggled under! Measures about 44" x 53".

This cute, girly quilt is made up of some of my favorite (now out of print!) Heather Ross fabrics, including pink VW buses and banana seat bikes. I've done stripes of varying widths and varying prints which provide great colors and patterns. 

It's made of 100% cotton fabrics with 100% cotton batting, and this quilt has been machine quilted in a fun loopy pattern.
