Wow! Again, great comments (and so many of them!) And on to our winner… #131, Anna F.
Because there were so many entries, I decided to add another prize. The second winner will win one fat quarter of this fabric – they can select either the pink or the blue. And the winner is #339, Beth.

Congrats to you both! I’ve sent you both emails!
The weather has been so nice here lately that I haven’t been doing much sewing, but here are a few things in the works…
a little something with some Wonderland -

making lots of piles -

Oh, and I finally finished these two beach bags…

…just in time for summer to be about over!
(these bags were made using Orla Kiely dishtowels I bought at Target back in February… the beach bag tutorial is here, for those who are interested!)

Oh I love the pear bag…I love Orla Kiely! Does she sell her fabric? Where did you find it if she does?
Cuuuuuuuuuuute bags!
Oooh! Another string quilt in the making? Pretty colors! I love the bags. Looks like you’ll be set for next summer.
woohoo!
can’t believe I won that fabric!
i’ll be dreaming about what to with it until it arrives. can’t wait. thanks so much!
Congrats to both of the winners! Woo hoo. I love all your wonderful piles. Makes me want to start attacking my small fabric stash to figure out what else to quilt.
I love the blue Orla fabric you used for your beach bag. Where did you get that?
Holy moly, that is ONE stack of cut out fabric!
I love Wonderland! One quilt down and some left in my stash for another one. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Ooooh! More wonderland and hexes. I can’t wait to see!!
Oh – and just out of curiousity….did you decide to keep the 9-patch? I’m wayyyyyyyyyyy behind on this round…
Congrats to the winners!
All your WIPs look great.
I’m obsessed with the wonderland range. I’ve made so many things with it, I think I’ll have to branch out soon!
Congrats to the winners, lucky doggs!
I see half hexagons in one of those stacks… and what lovely stacks they are! CUTE bags too! I need to wander thru the kitchen area at Target for some tea towels too… love them!
So lovley piles of colour! Congratulations to the lucky ladies x
beautiful stacks! can’t wait to see the products. i absolutely LOVE your quilts (am i gushing?!).
i just finished my first teeny-tiny quilt. i hope that you don’t mind a few links to your page as sources of inspiration.
i LOVE the pear bag!!!<3 that stack of scraps has gotten bigger since i last saw it at the beach. glad to see that your making progress though it has been sunny for once this summer.
bags look very cute. you will be all ready for next summer. i have looked for those towels in target and have not been able to find them.
That pear print is amazing! I’ll have to take a closer look at the dishtowels at my Target.
Love the bags. You’re so clever to utilize dish towels for these. I did an internet search on Orla Kiely, and looks like her towels are no longer available at Target. There’s still some tableware listed though for purchase. I couldn’t find any fabric outside the UK either. Can’t imagine why her line hasn’t been picked up by a US distributor. Anyway, thanks again for the inspiration. I’ll definitely start looking at dish towels in a whole new way from now on.
Oh, yes, Wonderland! I just finished 64 string blocks with it, and I’m still jonesing for more.
I think it’s a strange lot that gets excited about a photo of fabric scraps. But I’m in the lot for sure. I’m working on my string quilt from a great basket fut of scraps. So much color and possibility.
Wow…I think I need to pay more attention to the kitchen towels at Target! Love the bags!
Love the bags!
